I'm in my mid-50s and the days of being able to read labels in the grocery store without assistance have passed me by. I used to use my iPhone camera to take a picture of the label and zoom in, but finally gave in and started taking reading glasses with me when I shop.I had been buying cheap reading glasses at the dollar store and found that they were worth about what I paid for them - they certainly functioned fine, but were not made for being put in my jacket pocket without protection, and I was routinely breaking either the lenses or the arms. I decided to try something better designed to fit in a pocket and came across these small reading glasses that get around my two problems: (i) there are no arms to break and (ii) the lenses can't pop out. These seem like they were designed for my issues. They easily fit in a jacket or pants pocket (or today at the flea market in the kangaroo pocket of a hoodie) without issue. They've lived in my pockets for a few weeks without issue - any of the dollar store readers would have broken in a couple of weeks - and are incredibly useful. The glasses (2.0 for me) work VERY well and are great to use in a store. I'm able to put them at the end of my nose when walking around so that I can look down to look through them to read a label while looking forward without seeing the glasses to make my way around the store. Sure, they look a little odd and people seem a little confused by them, but they work very very well for me.I'm happy to highly recommend these glasses. They are easy to use, durable and work very well for me.
